Vintage Austrian Boiled Wool Suit

This beautiful mossy green loden wool set was made in Austria by Salzberger. The cropped fitted boiled wool jacket has a black and loden checked shawl collar, crochet wool trim, scalloped hem detail, and puffed fitted sleeves. The very full dirndl style skirt has a high fitted waist in the check pattern wool, allover pleating from the waist, an inset of the check and a plain black wool at the hemline, and a concealed side zipper and large hook and eye. The skirt is fully lined in loden green. The fit and styling of this set gives it a very traditional feel that is really appealing.
